EQUINOX

EQUINOX COVER 2.png

"Equinox" is a follow up song to "Summer of Love" - If the latter talks about the fear of the honeymoon stage ending through the imagery of summer, the Equinox is the actual end to that summer. Essentially, the end of love. I love symbology and iconograhy, so I included the double spiral in the cover because of its historic pagan association to the actual Equinox.

The end of a season usually invites us to transform, to undergo alchemical processes and come out a total different person than we started out as. That's the Equinox to me. The end of summer, of long days, of the fantasy and illusion and the start of Fall, of the cold, of the darkness, the introspection and the unadultered reality, whether it be shiny or not.

I wrote the lyrics to the song and had an idea in my mind of what I wanted it to sound like, but it was Oliver Peñataro who really brought this song to life. He composed it and produced, mixed and mastered it. Being physically present in the process was an incredible experience and I'm eternally grateful

Produced by Oliver Peñataro,  an amazing and incredibly talented artist artist (who has a lot of music of his own :) Check his spotify account!!!!)
